Started also to set up the gas tank. Removed original hooks tig welded and refabricated a little stronger. Put them upside down at their opposite place and tacked them in the place I wanted. Now I have the tank style I was looking for.
This blog
is my way of sharing the passion I have for vintage motorcycles. You will find
photography from the past found on the web, but also photographs shot in the
shack with the progress of my projects or shots with friends on the road and
much more. Eventually I will also post motorcycles parts I would like to sell
or trade. If you own the rights to any photos I post and want them to be
removed, please let me know. Comments and suggestions are always welcome, Feel
free to contact me, email is shackfabrications@gmail.com
Enjoy!

Panhead updates ...
Found an old, rusty, damaged, but cheap tin primary cover that I thought was good enough for me to fit with my belt drive (this thing is an old Paucho cover) and with my super cool mids. And that's it! Repair came out real well, I can chrome and would be shine like new. Got rid off rust at the end and just put it in place.
